Terms and Conditions of Acceptance

  1. Upon the activation of your Novated Lease account, a documentation fee may be applicable and will be levied by LeasePLUS Pty Ltd and or the financier. The value of the fee will be outlined in your lease documents.
  2. All information provided by LeasePLUS Pty Ltd is intended to be of a general nature and should not be construed as taking into account your personal financial circumstances. We recommend that you seek independent financial advice before making any decisions based on the information provided by LeasePLUS Pty Ltd. We do not accept any liability for any losses that may arise as a result of your reliance on the information we provide.
  3. The information provided herein does not constitute financial and/or tax advice. We strongly advise that you seek independent professional advice prior to entering into a Novated Lease arrangement. LeasePLUS Pty Ltd does not accept any liability for any losses or damages that may arise from any reliance on the information provided.
  4. The calculation of the effect on your take-home pay is based solely on the annual salary amount stated in the proposal and assumes that you are currently claiming the Tax-Free Threshold. It is important to note that this calculation may not take into account any other salary packaging benefits or deductions that may be applicable to your specific financial situation. Therefore, it is recommended that you seek advice from a qualified financial advisor before entering into a Novated Lease agreement. LeasePLUS Pty Ltd shall not be held responsible for any loss or damage resulting from any decisions made based on the information provided.
  5. The prices, interest rates, calculations, and budgets outlined in this proposal are based on the information provided to LeasePLUS Pty Ltd and are current as of the time of quoting. These figures are valid for a period of 10 business days from the date of the proposal. It is important to note that any changes to your financial situation or the terms of the Novated Lease agreement may result in adjustments to these figures. Therefore, it is recommended that you seek independent financial advice before entering into a Novated Lease agreement. LeasePLUS Pty Ltd accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage that may arise as a result of changes to the information provided or any subsequent adjustments to the proposal figures.
  6. As part of your Novated Lease agreement, a fuel card is provided for the specific purpose of fuel transactions related to the leased vehicle, as outlined in the budgeted costs section of the agreement. It is important to note that the use of the fuel card for any other purpose is strictly prohibited and may result in additional charges or penalties. Any discrepancies or irregularities in the use of the fuel card must be reported to LeasePLUS Pty Ltd immediately. LeasePLUS Pty Ltd reserves the right to terminate the fuel card service at any time, with written notice to you, in the event of any suspected misuse or violation of the terms and conditions of the agreement.
  7. In the event of a variation in the purchase price at the time of settlement, including but not limited to discounts, dealer delivery charges, freight, and government statutory charges, or any variation in interest rates, LeasePLUS Pty Ltd reserves the right to adjust the proposal accordingly and provide written notice of the variation to you. In such instances, it will be necessary for you to sign a new Novated Lease proposal acknowledging the changes to the Novated Lease cost before any further actions can be taken. It is recommended that you carefully review the proposed changes and seek independent financial advice before agreeing to any new terms. Please note that any failure to sign the new proposal may result in the termination of the Novated Lease agreement.
  8. As part of its services, LeasePLUS Pty Ltd provides budgeted vehicle running costs for Novated Lease vehicles. The running cost budgets outlined are provided as an estimate only, based on the type of car and the forecasted annual kilometres. Please note that you are responsible for the actual costs incurred and acknowledge that if actual costs exceed the budgeted allocation, LeasePLUS Pty Ltd reserves the right to increase the budgeted amounts to ensure that your account remains in surplus. In such instances, you will be required to reimburse LeasePLUS Pty Ltd at our request for any expenses incurred in excess of the budgeted amounts. Please note that LeasePLUS Pty Ltd is entitled to withdraw all or part of the services provided to you in relation to the Novated Lease vehicle, where you fail to make the required payments as outlined in the agreement. It is recommended that you review your budgeted vehicle running costs regularly and seek independent financial advice if required.
  9. Annual registration, compulsory third party and comprehensive insurance renewals are the responsibility of the policy holder. You must ensure your vehicle is insured and registered at all times. LeasePLUS Pty Ltd does not accept any liability for vehicles uninsured or with lapsed insurance and/or registration. - As the policy holder, it is your responsibility to ensure that your Novated Lease vehicle is registered and properly insured at all times, including annual registration, compulsory third party, and comprehensive insurance renewals. Please note that LeasePLUS Pty Ltd does not accept any liability for vehicles that are uninsured or have lapsed insurance and/or registration. It is recommended that you keep a record of your vehicle's registration and insurance details and provide them to LeasePLUS Pty Ltd upon request.
  10. Upon the earlier occurrence of either the end of your employment with the employer or the end of the lease, LeasePLUS Pty Ltd will conduct a reconciliation of your Novated Lease account. Please be advised that any outstanding payments owed to LeasePLUS Pty Ltd must be settled within five business days. In the event of surplus funds owed to you, they will be returned to your payroll department and subject to PAYG tax. It is important to note that any excess funds held by LeasePLUS Pty Ltd cannot be utilised to satisfy your residual value commitment or early payout. By accepting the terms and conditions of your Novated Lease, you agree to grant LeasePLUS Pty Ltd the right to register a charge on the vehicle on the Personal Properties Security Register, as security for any outstanding payments owed to LeasePLUS Pty Ltd.
  11. If a Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) liability arises, it is your responsibility to provide the necessary funds to cover any shortfall.
  12. If you have authorised and instructed LeasePLUS Pty Ltd to proceed with ordering your vehicle, subject to the satisfaction of credit approval criteria and you choose to cancel the order for any reason, you agree to compensate LeasePLUS Pty Ltd for all incurred costs or costs payable to third parties resulting from the cancellation, including but not limited to: all expenses associated with the supply and installation of accessories or aftermarket products, as well as a cancellation fee of up to 10% of the purchase price of the vehicle.
  13. The amount financed in your Novated Lease agreement includes all aftermarket and insurance items specified in your proposal, except for LeasePLUS Pty Ltd Roadside Assistance and Comprehensive Insurance, which are accounted for in your running costs budgets. Where eligible, such costs are net of GST.
  14. LeasePLUS Pty Ltd, acting as authorised representatives of certain providers, may receive up to 20% commission on the base premium for insurance products, warranties and memberships included in your Novated Lease. Additionally, LeasePLUS may receive volume rebates and incentives based on targets set with our preferred supplier network, linked to the overall performance of our novated Lease and fleet management services across all clients. These commissions, volume rebates, and incentives are subject to periodic review under our supplier agreements and may vary over time.
  15. You acknowledge that you have carefully read and comprehended the specific Product Disclosure Statements and Financial Services Guides related to the acquisition of the insurance products, warranties, and memberships offered in this proposal. By accepting these terms and conditions you confirm that you have obtained a sufficient understanding of the terms and conditions, limitations, and exclusions of the insurance products, warranties, and memberships included in the proposal.
  16. The numerical values presented in any proposals supplied to you by LeasePLUS Pty Ltd may not accurately reflect the precise payroll deductions that will be incurred. The actual payroll deductions may differ due to factors such as the commencement and conclusion dates of the lease, as well as the number of pay cycles occurring within the Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) year that spans from 1 April to 31 March.
  17. LeasePLUS Pty Ltd reserves the right to impose and collect administration fees from its dealer network in connection with the vehicle sourcing process.
  18. LeasePLUS Pty Ltd shall not be held responsible for any expenses, taxes, or penalties incurred by the policyholder due to future modifications made to Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) regulations in regards to car fringe benefits, except as outlined in these terms and conditions.
  19. In the case of Electric Vehicles (EV’s or PHEV’s) Novated Lease estimates is subject to change if the vehicle price exceeds the Luxury Car Tax Threshold.
  20. You may be liable to pay any reasonable costs incurred, including but not limited to collection fees and interest, that arise due to your default under this agreement.
  21. LeasePLUS Pty Ltd's terms and conditions are distinct from the terms and conditions of the financier. The financier's terms and conditions will be provided to you as part of the settlement process.
